Alpha Comics
Alpha Comics भारत का एक स्वतंत्र कॉमिक्स पब्लिशिंग और Intellectual Property (IP) development house है, जिसकी स्थापना 2023 में Vasu Gupta ने की थी। कंपनी का मुख्य फोकस नए भारतीय characters और story universes विकसित करने पर है, जिन्हें comics के अलावा animation, gaming और अन्य entertainment formats में भी आगे बढ़ाया जा सके।
Alpha Comics के संस्थापक Vasu Gupta, Raj Comics के सह-संस्थापक और प्रमुख comic creator Sanjay Gupta के पुत्र हैं। इसी वजह से Alpha Comics का भारतीय कॉमिक्स की पुरानी publishing tradition से एक सीधा पारिवारिक और professional connection भी है। हालांकि Alpha Comics का अपना catalogue और अलग IP portfolio है।
स्थापना
Alpha Comics की शुरुआत 2023 में हुई। इसके शुरुआती प्रमुख titles में The Adventures of Chahal-Pahal और Agent J in Operation Ganga शामिल रहे।
कंपनी का शुरुआती उद्देश्य नए characters और कहानियों को विकसित करना था, जिन्हें केवल printed comics तक सीमित न रखकर भविष्य में अलग-अलग entertainment mediums में विस्तारित किया जा सके।
संस्थापक
Vasu Gupta Alpha Comics के Founder और Creative Director हैं।
उन्होंने comics और pop-culture industry में publishing तथा events से जुड़े विभिन्न कार्य किए हैं। Raj Comics के साथ काम करने के दौरान उन्हें editorial, production, marketing और publishing से संबंधित अनुभव मिला। बाद में उन्होंने इसी अनुभव के आधार पर Alpha Comics की स्थापना की।

Chahal-Pahal
The Adventures of Chahal-Pahal बच्चों और युवा पाठकों के लिए बनाई गई adventure और mystery-oriented comic series है। इसके विभिन्न adventures में school mysteries, missing objects, supernatural घटनाओं और investigation जैसे elements का इस्तेमाल किया गया है।
Agent J
Agent J in Operation Ganga Alpha Comics के शुरुआती प्रमुख titles में से एक है। इसका Hindi edition Agent J Ka Operation Ganga नाम से भी प्रकाशित किया गया है।
The Legend of Watakattu
यह adventure और action आधारित series है, जिसमें Watakattu से जुड़े characters और अलग-अलग missions को कहानी का आधार बनाया गया है।
Al Zebra
Al Zebra Alpha Comics की action-oriented properties में शामिल है। इसके विभिन्न issues में fantasy, supernatural और action elements दिखाई देते हैं।
Bawarchi
Bawarchi Alpha Comics की अपेक्षाकृत अलग और darker storytelling वाली properties में से एक है। इसके कई issues प्रकाशित हो चुके हैं और इसके Hindi तथा English editions भी उपलब्ध हैं।
The War Cook
The War Cook historical adventure और mystery elements वाली graphic story है। इसकी कहानी wartime chef Shank Pushp Ratan के इर्द-गिर्द विकसित की गई है।
इस title के writer Saahil S. Sharma हैं। The War Cook को comics industry के विभिन्न awards और recognitions भी मिले हैं।
Rainbow – The Monster Slayer
यह fantasy-adventure series है, जिसमें monsters और environmental themes को कहानी में शामिल किया गया है।
प्रकाशन भाषाएँ
Alpha Comics Hindi और English दोनों भाषाओं में comics प्रकाशित करता है।

Comic Con और अन्य Events
Alpha Comics ने अपनी comics को पाठकों तक पहुंचाने के लिए Comic Con India और विभिन्न book fairs तथा pop-culture events में भाग लिया है।
इसके event presence में Comic Con India के अलावा New Delhi World Book Fair, IndiaJoy, GAFX Bengaluru तथा अन्य publishing और entertainment events शामिल रहे हैं।
2026 में भी कंपनी ने नए titles के launches और anime/pop-culture events के माध्यम से अपने IP portfolio को promote किया।
Awards और Recognition
Alpha Comics और उसके creators की विभिन्न comics को industry awards और recognitions प्राप्त हुए हैं।
इनमें IndiaJoy Comic Street Awards 2024 और FICCI Best Animation Awards 2025 जैसे platforms शामिल हैं।
The War Cook के writer Saahil S. Sharma को comics writing के लिए recognition मिला।
Catalogue
Alpha Comics की official website पर individual issues, graphic novels तथा विभिन्न language editions सहित बड़ी संख्या में products उपलब्ध हैं।
कंपनी ने अपने professional profiles में दर्जनों story editions, हजारों pages के sequential artwork और development में मौजूद कई नए IPs का उल्लेख किया है।

Raj Comics से संबंध
Alpha Comics और Raj Comics के बीच पारिवारिक संबंध होने के बावजूद दोनों अलग publishing entities हैं।
Raj Comics की पहचान Nagraj, Doga, Parmanu, Bhokal जैसे स्थापित characters और उनके लंबे publishing history से जुड़ी है।
इसके विपरीत Alpha Comics का मुख्य focus नए characters और नए IP universes विकसित करना है।
इसलिए Alpha Comics को Raj Comics की नई branch या continuation के बजाय एक अलग publishing venture के रूप में देखना अधिक उचित है, जिसकी founding team को Raj Comics की विरासत और अनुभव का लाभ मिला है।
वर्तमान स्थिति
2026 तक Alpha Comics भारतीय independent/new-generation comics publishing landscape में तेजी से विकसित होने वाले publishers में दिखाई देता है।
इसके catalogue में कई original properties, Hindi और English editions, अलग-अलग genres और नियमित event participation शामिल हैं। साथ ही company का घोषित IP और transmedia-oriented approach इसे traditional print-comics publishing से आगे ले जाने की कोशिश करता है।
Alpha Comics की खासियत इसकी विविध IP pipeline है—जहाँ एक ही publisher के अंतर्गत kids adventure से लेकर action, horror, mythology, mystery और darker adult-oriented storytelling तक अलग-अलग प्रकार की comics विकसित की जा रही हैं।
